If you're looking for something completely random to do on a Sunday afternoon I highly suggest the Brooklyn Railway Association Tunnel Tour. Enter via a manhole in the middle of Atlantic Ave and it's the most bizarre chunk of history i've seen yet. It's the oldest railway tunnel in the world and the guy that leads the tour is like a historic encyclopedia that doesn't even take a breath. Worth every penny of the $15....
